In radical calligraphic reduction, “Schöpfung” distills the process of becoming into a few essential brushstrokes. On a white ground, black arcs correspond with one another as ciphers of the very beginning – germinating seeds, bowls, and blazing impulses. The work conceives of creation not as a monument but as a concentrated spark in infinite space.
